About MeRectangular panel of blue 'William Morris' silk, depicting the symbols of the Lamb of God and the four New Testament Gospels. The lamb is worked in split stitch with long and short stitch overlaid with silver metallic thread. It is surrounded by a circle of silver laid threads and red embroidered letters 'ecce agnus dei' (behold the Lamb of God). The gold metallic laid thread roundels contain the symbols for St. Matthew (a man), St Mark (a lion), St Luke (a bull) and St. John (an eagle).
