About MeBlack wool kimono style jacket with complex gold metallic yarn pattern, knitted by Mildred Boulton. Abstract bee motifs are repeated across the jacket and top, and the motif is also picked up again in the beaded shoulder strap. Here it appears as an abstract bee's wing.

Worn with a pleated gold lurex skirt. The fabric is actually used on the reverse with hints of the colourful paisley-style pattern on the right side showing through. Bill preferred this effect and as usual was not afraid to break with convention.
