About MeGibb's designs are often recognised for their flowing, feminine style and for many of his couture pieces he favoured silk and chiffon. The rose print chiffon was made by Janet Taylor, a textile designer who Gibb frequently employed. Sequins and bugle beads have been hand-sewn onto the kimono to create a romantic effect. The piece belonged to Bill Gibb's former business partner Kate Franklin.
