About MeIn 1913, McBey travelled the perilous route from Tetuan to Tangier on horseback. On his arrival he went sketching with Helen Wilson, an artist whom he had met at his hotel. He visited her home on the Old Mountain Road to the west of the town and noted the splendid view and garden. It was this house, "El Foolk", that he came to own thirty-five years later and which was to be his home from then until his death.James Cromar Watt
