About MeThe move westwards towards what became Queens Cross was a sign of the growing wealth in Aberdeen. Prominent businessmen such as George Washington Wilson moved from the city to the quieter and cleaner west end. The photographer's home (built in 1865) stood on the left just at the end of Albyn Place.
