About MeThe move westwards towards what became Queens Cross was a sign of the growing wealth in Aberdeen. Prominent businessmen such as George Washington Wilson moved from the city to the quieter and cleaner west end. Fine granite terraces such as seen here are evidence of not only a buoyant local economy but also the grwoing importance of the granite industry.
