About MeThis may be a preparatory sketch for the Morte D'Arthur frescos at Westminster. It is not directly related to any of the subjects in the Queen's Robing Room. However, the unmistakable figures of Guinevere and King Arthur, who has the same helmet and parted beard as in the sketch for Generosity suggest that this is possibly another, earlier exploration, of the Arthurian legends. Dyce must have decided to abandon the subject, realising that it was too violent for the Commissioners' taste.
