About MeAfter graduating form the Glasgow School of Art and continuing his work in north east Scotland, Bill Burns' subjects were principally of small seatowns, depicting sea-walls, large stones on beaches and boats.

This drawing represents a harbour; there is a feeling of repetition with the alignment of similar trawlers fading into the horizon. There is always a seatown or industrial theme in Burns' work and here we see chimney pots and warehouses in the background.
