About MeThis is an allegorical representation of Spring - the figure appears to be awakening from a long sleep and as she awakens flowers fall from her blanket.

This is a design for a mural decoration. The female figure has been rhythmically and harmoniously arranged. By not emphasising the solidity of the figure, Walker's designs possess the quality of mural painting. Like renaissance artist Botticelli, whose fresco of Spring hangs in the Louvre in Paris, her paintings are also poetically conceived.
