Culottes were very popular during the 1970s. This sumptuous pair, sold by Biba, with its wide legs and a high waistband are similar to the bloomer style trousers worn by Edwardian ladies whilst cycling. The blouse too is also reminiscent of Edwardian fashions with its delicate whitework embroidery. Dated to the 1970s.
