About MeLadies folding sprung lorgnettes with a single handle inlaid with turquoise and decorated with a tiny string of pink roses. Lorgnettes were popular in the 19th century to gain a better view of the stage at the theatre and were simply held up in the front of the face when necessary. These date from around 1900 and the handle decoration makes them particularly feminine.
