About MeThese plates have a gilded blue band around the edge and a gilt rim. The centre of the plate is decorated with gilded flowers and polychrome floral sprays. The rich blue colour was copied from the French porcelain manufacturer Sèvres.

Derby porcelain got its “Crown” from King George III and the “Royal” from Queen Victoria.
