About MeThis wedding dress, with coronet, may have been bought at the local Aberdeen shop, Falconers. It was worn to a wedding in Gilcomston Church, Aberdeen, in June 1962.The traditional style dress is full-length and made of ivory polyester brocade. It has a high waist and full skirt, gathered at the back to give a short train. Three bows and two narrow horizontal panels are sewn on the back, giving the only subtle decoration on an otherwise unfussy dress. The short veil falls from a crown of pearlised buttons.
