About MeRobert Sellar Cook was the son of Charles Cook. He served an apprenticeship with Hall, Russell and Co. including working in the drawing office. On completion of his apprenticeship he went to sea as marine engineer. he returned to Aberdeen to work with the Great North od Scotland Railway at Kittybrewster. About 1892 he moved to work in his father's business Barry, Henry and Company. In 1907 he was appointed Joint Manager. He ran the company up to his death in 1921.
The company's name was changed to Barry, Henry and Cook in the same year.
