About MeThis notebook appears to date from the mid 19th century or perhaps earlier. Inside are careful notes giving details on wool blending and the variety of processes which constitute textile production.

These pages describe the process of spinning wool into yarn and seem to be copied from a textbook. The description probably dates from the 1860s because it talks about a condenser and self acting mule. These machines speeded up the process of spinning yarn and were beginning to appear in mills around that period.
