About MeMy Little Pony was launched in 1983. The ponies feature colourful bodies, manes and a unique symbol on one or both sides of their flanks. Princess Sparkle was part of the Generation 1 My Little Ponies which were made between 1982 and 1995. My Little Pony has become extremely collectable, with vintage mint in package examples selling for hundreds of pounds.
