About MeSalmon pink silk brocade housecoat in a wrap over style, heavily decorated with a flower and animal design in grey and silver bugle beads. Such heavy beading is typical of the Edwardian period. Although the added weight gives the housecoat a feeling of luxury, it is not a garment one could have worn easily. Worn by the donors' grandmother of Skene House, Aberdeenshire, 1900-1910.
