About MeGordon Burnett was born in fraserburgh in 1951. He served an apprenticeship as letter cutter at William McKay & Sons, Aberdeen before studying Jewellery and Textiles at Grays School of Art. He is a contemporary maker who designs and creates objects. In the Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums Collections we have examples of clocks and jewellery by him.He retired from his position of Reader in Craft and Head of the 3 Dimensional Design Course at Gray's School of Art this year (2011).
