About MeDuring an excavation at the St Nicholas Triangle area of Aberdeen, a large 19th-century stone and brick drain was excavated. Many metal and bone objects were dropped down the drain during its use, including this bone toothbrush.

Other finds from the drain included dozens of wooden matches, fragments of glass bottles and other vessel glass, ceramics and metal, bone and mother of pearl buttons.
