About MeThe image shows the vessel after coversion to heavy lift as well as pipe carrying in Aberdeen when operated by Heerema.
Originally when built in the Netherlands in 1975 Triton 8 was named the Oil Challenger and kept that name until sold to Heerema in 1980.
Soon after launch in 1975 it was involved in laying the pipeline from the Ninian Field to Sullom Voe.
By 2004 it again changed hands and was renamed Caspian.
