About MeBlue Cannon radiant gas fire with integral wire guard.

The fire has a single metal element at the bottom and a large curved reflective backing within a blue body. The wire guard covers the element and the lower half of the fire and can be removed. The maker's label at the top reads "cannon" and it is stamped near the element "REG DES No.870421".

At the back of the fire is a carry handle with cast inscription "H211" and also stamped "CE". There is a cast inscription on the back "REG DES No.870421 / AUSTRALIAN DES. REG. 91997" along the top and "F372" near the base. At the bottom is a metal fixture to hold the fire upright, with a cast inscription "F304" with a maker's plate reading "CANNON (GA) LIMITED / BILSTON, STAFFS. ENGLAND / TYPE K12 / INPUT RATE 6000-6500B TH US/HR / DATE 6 65".

The gas inlet is from the proper right, behind the blue body.
