    About MeEmbroidered armchair with a dark wood frame featuring a seat, back and arm rests padded and upholstered in deep pink velvet. There are two embroidered panels, one on the back of the chair featuring a woman in a landscape and the other on the seat featuring a floral design. The panels are worked in coloured wools in tent stitch on a pale ground. The back of the chair tilts to adjust the angle. The frame dates from 1830 to 1840 but was re-upholstered early in the 20th century.
