About MeOak chair with bobbin and spiral turned legs, rails and stretcher. The solid back, which is shaped at the top, is carved with figures and birds on either side of a shield. Back panel features Adam and Eve in a surround of conventional spirals with the date '1696' carved below. The carved heraldic crest resembles the Anstruther Arms and the motto 'ALL YE WELCOM WE RESTE' is carved along the front of the seat.
