The production of Bohemian glass began when Bohemia and Silesia wanted to establish themselves as countries of nobility and royalty. Vintage Bohemian art glass can still be purchased and is often characterised by a greenish tint. These pieces of Bohemian glass are the most sought after by collectors and are extremely valuable and rare. Subsequently other colours such as amber were developed within the range.

William Tillman was making fine reproduction furniture from the1970's until his retirement at the end of the 1990's and his work is considered to be of the highest quality and collected throughout the world.
