About MeThe 'Turra Coo' was a celebrated event in 1913 when a local farmer at Lendrum sold the cow for £7.00 to pay an insurance tax imposed by the prime minister Lloyd George. The cow was sold on 16 December 1913.

Souvenir glasses and tumblers were sold to commemorate the event and to demonstrate solidarity to the anti-tax campaign. This glass originally belonged to Mr Strachan of Arbroath.
