About MeMixed finds from Excavation E50, Robert Gordon's College. Includes pottery from a brown glazed vessel, a sherd of glass, two clay pipe stems and a brick.
The brick was found in the ditch dug around 'Cumberland Fort' (now Robert Gordon's Auld Hoose) when Cumberland's troops lodged there in 1746 prior to marching up to Culloden. It is impressed with seeds of alexanders, a member of the carrot family that grows near water.
