About MeSir Alexander Ogston, fourth from left with large moustache, was a surgeon of great skill and drive. He developed orthopaedic procedures for club foot and knock knees. In addition he was instrumental in the introduction of Lister's antiseptic procedure (carbolic) to the Infirmary.1930 - 1940
