About MeBrown square glass bottle labelled "Friar's Balsam" containing a dark coloured liquid. The sides and back of the bottle are ribbed. There is a label on the top of the bottle and one on the front. The one on the front has covered an older label. The stopper is a square glass stopper.

The object is from a ship's medicine chest from an Aberdeen trawler that was wrecked off Hoy.
