About MePhotograph from album of the Cook Duncan Lownie who served on the Lord Talbot. All the images included were actually taken on a small box Brownie camera.
The Lord Talbot was involved in the rescue of the passengers and crew of the US aeroplane City of Richmond which crashed near Ekersuak in Greenland in 1932. Aboard were the Hutchinson family ('The Flying Family') en route from New York to London
This photo album contains a number of snapshots of Inuit, the "Flying Family" and Greenland.
