About MeIn 1933, under the new management of James Forrest Donald, His Majesty's Theatre underwent extensive improvement and development. This included installation of film projectors capable of showing talkies. Projector removed in 1982 when theatre was being refurbished and when it had passed into the care of the District Council. Decision taken at time that it would no longer double up as a cinema.
