About MeThis clear, pressed glass plate commemorates the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria's coronation. The lettering around the edge reads 'THE QUEEN'S JUBILEE' and the dates '1837' and '1887' are on the base, around a crown motif encircled by a laurel wreath.

Many of these plates were produced as inexpensive souvenirs to commemorate such Royal events, right into the twentieth century.
