About MeA gun-like object upon which a loaded syringe could be mounted, it was designed to make injection of insulin easier for the patient. The user can set the depth of penetration and then ease the hypodermic needle into tissue. The accompanying leaflet claims that the injector is in use in several hospitals for injecting penicillin, anti-diphtheria serum and insulin.

In this audio, guest contributor Martin describes his experience of using the Palmer injector.
