About MeThis watercolour suggests what the interior of McBey’s studio might have looked like, with the brightly coloured bottles of acid and the starwheel etching press; McBey always did his own printing which he saw as a continuation of the artistic process.

Ever keen to experiment with new techniques, this work illustrates his distinctive style of filling in quickly drawn lines with colour washes.
