About MeThis view looking across the Wellington Suspension, which dates from 1830,shows the city's Joint Station. Opened in 1867 this station was a joint enterprise by the Scottish North Eastern railway and the Great North of Scotland railway. The new station on Guild Street encompassed the site of Aberdeen's first gasworks.
