About MeJames Morrison, 1865-1952, lived in the Parish of Belhelvie. He ran a bicycle shop at Menie but was also a keen photographer. He took many hundreds of photographs of people in his corner of the North East. His images record a rural way of life which has now vanished.

The Great North of Scotland bus shown was introduced between Aberdeen (Schoolhill) and Newburgh in April of 1907. It closed in February 1922 the year prior to GNSR becoming part of the London & North Eastern Railway.
