About MeThe Pro 600 (taking 600 feet of film) was the 16mm cine-camera used by Grampian Televison for news gathering (outside recording) in the 1960s and 1970s. It was the camera first used in 1961 when GTV began broadcasting from its Fountainhall Road studios. The camera, which recorded sound, became a piece of standard equipment in the telvision industry. The 600 was followed by the "Super 1200" which took up to 1200 feet of 16mm film.
