About MeLadies dark brown skunk fur cape. The donor's mother had a sealskin coat, trimmed with skunk at the collar and hem, and a smaller skunk stole. George Sims, the Aberdeen furrier, combined the stole and the trims to make the cape in the late 1940s or early 1950s, sewing together the tails in vertical bands to make the body and forming the neck with the stole.
