About MeBarry, Henry & Cook Limited was an engineering firm which specialised i nthe manufacture of conveyors. The company originated in Barry, Henry & Co., a business primarily concerned with millwright work. Charles Cook, farmer and hotel keeper, bought the business in 1890. Ovwer time, and with the Cook connection remaining central, the engineering works expanded its foundry and moved towards a specialisation in conveyors. Hwoever, it remained also firmly fixed in the general engineering trade.
