About MeThis instrument was designed to overcome the difficulty and innacuracy of older methods of palpation and auscaltation is a modified adult sphygmomanometer which permits accurate readings to be taken of the arterial blood-pressure of the newborn. It employs a visual method by means of an indicator and two inflatable cuffs.
