About MeHardie's work is concerned with the landscape of the body. In this work, she has turned her attention to the head and the features; expression becoming the subject of the picture. The artist prefers to apply her paint with a sponge, not a brush which gives her surfaces a vibrancy and a subtle interplay of light and shade.
More About Me

Hardie prefers to apply paint with a sponge, rather than a brush. What do you think is the effect of this?
