About MeThe sitters in this painting are Anne and Marjory Gerrie, who were aged four and eight respectively. The portrait was commissioned by their father, an ear, nose and throat surgeon in Aberdeen. The girls are seen playing with their toys in what was then their family home at 2 Queens Gardens, Aberdeen.
