About MeAfter Paul Ysart left Moncrieff's he moved first to Caithness Glass in Wick. After retiring in 1970, he set up his own paperweight studio at Harland, also in Wick, subsequently forming Highland Paperweights (1977--1981). This Fountain weight was made by Paul Ysart in Wick.More About Me
Ysart's father, a glass blower, moved his family to Scotland when Paul was eleven. The glassworks first produced laboratory ware, but later moved on to more decorative work.
