About MeThis clock is made up of 3 rectangular blocks of aluminium, hinged at the top, giving a several options for positioning the clock. The vibrant turquoise blue is achieved by anodising after the textural surface has been created through computer aided design (CAD). Aluminium is chosen because it is light in weight and takes anodising well. Burnett adopts both bright and subtle colours to enhance the texture of metal.He retired from his position of Reader in Craft and Head of the 3 Dimensional Design Course at Gray's School of Art this year (2011).
More About Me
An industrial clock made from 3 rectangular blocks of aluminium. The blue paint emphasises the texture of the metal whilst also looking like waves crashing in the sea.
