About MeMaersk Endurer was a harsh environment Jack Up Drilling Rig built in Japan in 1984 and refurbished in 1997. It was capable of drilling to a depth of 10,000m and could accomodate 98 crew. The rig was operational in the North Sea for many years around 2000.
Cards of this type were issued to everyone as they came aboard the rig when they had their safety induction. It carried safety information as well as details of the accomodation the person was to occupy.
