The engine was a John Lewis made triple expansion 3 cylinders of 14 1/2", 25" and 41" diameter 30" stroke. Boiler pressure 200lb, 131NHP, 1SB, 3PF, GS60, HS2357 steam cruiser stern.
1959: the engine replaced with a diesel by British Auxiliaries, Glasgow (made in 1941) oil engine 2 SA 7 cylinder 250x420mm.
