General History:
SCOTTISH PRINCESS was one of three fishing vessels built by John Lewis for Scottish Motor Trawlers Ltd, a subsidy of John Lewis. The other two ships were SCOTTISH KING and SCOTTISH QUEEN. SCOTTISH PRINCESS and SCOTTISH KING were identical. QUEEN was 4' shorter and had a different style wheelhouse. All three had a thistle logo on the funnel.
