Captain Norman Alexander 'Tiny' Ross, MRIN (Member of the Royal Institute of Navigation). Born 669 George Street, Aberdeen on 7 August 1940. Education 1945 - 52 at Skene Square Primary and 1952 - 56 at Robert Gordon's College. December 1956 - August 1960 - indentured apprentice with the British India Steam Navigation Company.
