'I have been a big fan since I was at college - I had those original Vogue pictures on my wall - so it was a real joy to work with him', she says. 'I can't believe we actually published knitting patterns in the newspaper - usually linked with a company like Rowan Yarns - so that readers could knit themselves an original Bill Gibb.'
