Mark Baylis has spent his life collecting British design, specifically clothing between 1965 – 1975. His ‘absolute passion is Bill Gibb/Ossie Clark as well as Thea Porter, John Bates, etc’. He works as a vintage collector/dealer at Portobello Road Market, London, every Friday. He has been dealing for 37 years and says he’s fortunate enough to be connected to many ‘faces’ from the 60s/70s through his work and through his mother who was an actress at the time. He collects and sells outfits worn by celebrities and bands such as ‘Florence & the Machine’.
