Ashby Potters Guild

The Ashby Potters Guild was established in 1909 at Woodville in Derbyshire by Pascoe Tunnicliffe. The pottery produced decorative and functional earthenware, all pieces individually thrown by the designers. The work is generally characterised by leadless glazes in shades of blue, moss green and flame red. In 1922 the pottery was absorbed by William Ault.
